Identity and packaging exploration
Nairobi Coffee.
A bold identity across everyday coffee formats.

Nairobi Coffee explores a compact, characterful identity built around the three letters NRB. Large, rounded lettering leads the cup designs, while a smaller coffee descriptor gives the mark context. Burgundy and olive versions take the same identity across an iced drink and a hot takeaway cup.
How can a short café name carry a recognisable identity across different takeaway formats?
This is a retrospective framing of the concept shown here. It describes the work under review; it is not presented as an original client brief.
Let the name lead.
The NRB lettering is the first thing the cup asks you to notice. Its scale gives the name priority, with supporting words kept smaller. That hierarchy makes the identity the visual anchor across the two cup formats.
One mark, different treatments.
Burgundy and olive provide two expressions of the same identity. The repeated lettering connects them even as the cup material and drink presentation change. These are colour explorations; they are not presented as a tested or final product range.
Designed around a real format.
Showing both a hot cup and a clear iced cup makes the application part of the design conversation. Cup curvature, the visible drink and the space available for the mark all affect how the identity is experienced. Supplier-template and physical-sample checks would be the next production step.
What this project demonstrates
A consistent mark and clear hierarchy explored across takeaway formats.
The imagery is a concept mockup, including generated presentation imagery. It demonstrates a visual direction, with no claim of a café launch, manufactured packaging or commercial results.
